Announcement to Run for Minneapolis city council in ward 3

I am so proud and honored to announce I am running for City Council to represent Ward 3.

For 2 years, our warning calls to protect our communities fell on deaf ears. Our warnings came true, and with the crises at hand and the looming threat of Trump’s presidency, we must act now with compassion and the belief in human rights for all. We cannot afford to wait.

Our campaign will build a broad, grassroots coalition—as I have with North STAR—and foster solidarity on both sides of the Mississippi for our flourishing and diverse communities of the East Bank, Northeast, and Downtown Central.

The course of Minneapolis for the next 4 years will be determined in 2025’s city elections. I will represent all of Ward 3, especially our marginalized communities. Our voices must be heard to chart the course of the future because we are the future. I will not back down in the fight for us.
